Ultimately, all of this proved be too-little-too-late for Apple as their market hare and stock prices continued to slide.

In my opinion many of the successes in the early years were linked to the students’ motivation. They were very passionate about what they were doing, but once things got too serious they were overwhelmed by the large scale of the process of growing a company. During the years Apple was not so successful, I think this was due to the act that they brought in someone who was too fixed on hierarchy and not innovation.
