Banners Broker Webinar Record And David Hooker Phone Call - Essay Example

As mentioned yesterday, Banners Broker has lost its debit card program, one of their tools which was always used to create a false impression of legitimacy among their affiliates. At first I thought that Vector Card Services pulled the plug and stopped to provide services to the Banners Broker Ponzi scheme. Later I was notified that in fact Mastercard itself decided to pull the plug because of the nature of Banners Broker.

Banners Broker did some webinar in the evening, in order to inform the members about the reasons and what will happen next. To my surprise the CEO of Vector Card Services showed up on the webinar and, can you believe it, talked about the issue in the favor of Banners Broker. According to him “all the pointless negative posts on blogs have made Mastercard cancel the Banners Broker Prepaid Card Program”. So it seems like they are close with Banners Broker and we have another company where authorities should have a look into. As to my knowledge, Vector Card Services claims to be based in Canada which seems not to be true. Their Canadian address is a virtual office and also there is no company registered in Canada under the name Vector Card Services. Maybe worth a closer look. One of the most funny things talked about in this webinar is the support of PayPal. According to Chris Smith, they will not use PayPal as it is not a suitable payment option for their industry. Wait, that’s new! Almost every big name in the advertising industry is offering PayPal for their financial transactions without any problem. And he wants to tell us that a multi million dollar company, with a bigger turnover than Google, is not able to use PayPal? I can tell you what the real problem is: Ponzi scheme, non compliance and an obvious investment scheme which is selling unlicensed securities! PayPay is not dumb, and of course they would freeze Banners Broker’s accounts immediately. Chris Smith knows that, and he also knows that it would again generate bad publicity. This is why they will not use PayPal. It is really that simple.

Another interesting story I want to share with you today is a call to the Banners Broker Ireland owner “David Hooker”, which has been done by one of the guys at realscam.com. It is pretty interesting to listen to the call and also the reaction of David Hooker is very interesting. While the caller stays calm all the time and asks reasonable questions, David Hooker is getting pretty loud and angry. In my opinion he is stressed by being “one of the walls” in front of Rajiv Dixit and Chris Smith, the main people behind the Banners Broker Ponzi scheme. Rajiv Dixit is a known Ponzi scheme operator and was one of the people behind the ICF World Homes scheme.
