Technology is that science that separates human from the animals and most importantly it have shaped our lives in that manner that humans are more dependent on machinery then animals in the past . Now the world has changed a lot people have now shifted from wheels to the computers. We can conclude that by advancing our technology we have come up with massive environmental degradation we have to face different destruction. We have realize that by advancing our living structure we are going to face some serious complications regarding environment that makes our planet as a patient and no one is responsible for polluting it.

The increased number of cars , carbon trading license and most importantly smoke that comes from manufacturing industries have harmed our ozone layer that protects our planet from sun harmful rays. Importance of the study with respect to the world This study is important because now we have realize that by advancing our living structure we are going to face some serious complications regarding environment that makes our planet as a patient and no one is responsible for polluting it.

The increased number of cars , corroborating license and most importantly smoke that lane from sun harmful rays. Q- How new technology is affecting environment? Q- what are the factors that affect climate change? Chapter # 2 Literature review The major purpose of literature review is to analyze the results of the previous studies done by various researchers. Literature review helps you in understanding the subject better and also tells you how previous researchers have come to conclusions about your topic.

Nicholas halyard (2001) focuses on the limelight planet by looking at the forces which have now debased the earth and which now propose to manage its improvement wrought the process of “sustainable development” and in full swing to bring the admeasuring and importance of ecological degradation towards the public attention, this might seem casual to question that importance planet and the image of the planet as a patient. Tropical forests are been gash down or parched at a rate of a football field in every minute.

Toxic wastes, contaminated land that pollute the planet, rivers and sea. Fishing grounds are collapsed. Global warming is becoming reality in an increasing rate. Farm land is being eradicated and degraded. Such destructions are Justifying the image of the planet. Thus, this view brings me to major and second main concern. The picture describes earth as patient that is on an hospital bed tells nothing about the forces that have caused the patient who is on the bed to become ill . It describes the effect of the sickness of patient is all we need to worry about in a tough situation.

It deliver the invisible face of those being who are doing this destruction and the faces of those who are becoming patient of this planet. There are goals but in achieving those goals for the sake of planet to become fit but no one is noticing. This tells the reality of the development reoccurred. But in reality this is ambiguous by the picture of the “Earth(planet) in Intensive Care”. When we look at the earth on the administrating table. We don’t see that what the planet’s doctors are doing in order to diagnose.

But we are not invited to make challenge their right deciding the “fate of the planet ” Alternately we are presented with a picture that legitimates the quo of status, that gives power of their biggest object for management and the planet. By showing the image of environment degradation as a main problem requiring global solution that no one is implemented, the picture of the planet in Intensive(main) Care has given added force to those multinational interest who would extend their global character. International institutions and national governments are up to the task in hand that how they perform. Etc staff (2003) explains that the dialog in between the latitudes and the ell-elites . An 1812, beleaguered textile labor were defending their main Jobs by taking on the Industrial Revolution(out breaking) by axing machinery in the English Midland. Sympathy by,1811 the rebellion took by the Ned Ululated ended at the gallows hanged many leaders. Anyone in that era opposing new technological advancement is dismissed as a Ululated”.

Industrial Revolutionized is an example in new textile advanced machinery demolishing working families which are in the Midlands , it brings the massive and a huge starvations in country of Asia Cotton production have been shifted to the area of southern US where the Finished cotton cloth -making with the new machinery symbolized by Eli Whitey’s cotton ginning, in the work of Indian hand-looms by the power looms. There The main bones of the cotton-weavers are bleaching out subcontinent. He destruction was due to the inexorable physical forces of ‘a good ideas w time had come in order to maintain development. ‘ In British the mill owners and the United States slave owners, India had remained competitive in this field . If we talk about Indian cloth they were finer quality and the price of those cloths threatened the premise of the new British industrialists. To cater a safeguard for the march of progressive development) but the British agents of field set impossible production quota and then they seized the main goods of defaulting Indian weavers producers.

If we talk about Britain, the Industrial Revolution guided exceptional wealth and increased life anticipation. If we talk about prices the textile industry cloths prices felt to that level even the poor and middle class could afford. But this was Not in India, Even in Britain , as The Economist concluded , by the midst of 19th century “the initial enriching impact of the industrial development had given much way to the people of urban areas” One of them well-documented and initial indicator,.

Ululated would then argue that most of the social well being could have been better-served in order to maintain the industrial development. Richard booking(2006) explains that once upon a time, nobody owns everything in the world ,everyone in this planet owned everything and everything is in the hands of everyone and everything that is present is common but if we look at the human growth the common were contained by the national and the tribal areas which has been enforced by arms and the poverty limelight , which are been distributed in the main title of different deeds in the planet.

This is done by the leases which has been given by the people by the government regulations and the different authorities classical commons are in their many forms weather in the form of individuals or the groups of people. The basic problem is that as the population is growing day by day and on the other hand the rights are been delivered to the common people by the government authorities.

That access was majority considered by the different law and regulations in which people took them the right as granted that they own those rights then the question arises that the air we breath is this free or not according to me as the common rights are given away the air rights are also given away by the authorities. Neocolonialism and Fraud(2007) describes the degradation in the environment is a political issue that is in circle and revolving around two things first is the overuse and mainly the major use use of the earth capacity thick to keep the green house accordingly.

The Kyoto Protocol was mainly so far fails to the major address either issue. Giving the industrial corporations quasi-property law and the rights over the atmosphere changes it also in practice, subsidies to the increased emissions of carbon . Which was far from being small step to be forwarded as it is initial steep the Toto protocol is in fact a dangerous and the most important stumble has the construction of the new carbon-industrial complex which is prohibited to do carbon trading internationally.

CAROLYN that there is always a different sort so danger of a certain effect of a desires like tuberculosis re-emerging. There is a report issued by the the National and international society of Sciences and the Institute of Medicine, issued in 2000, and it has been warned that the United States has to maintain and even different step up its tuberculosis control The question now confronting the United States is whether another cycle of neglect that it will be lowed but in a manner which to begin or not whether, instead, decisive action will be taken to eliminate the disease.

Then Almost half 1/off the patient were natives of three countries the limelight planet by looking at the forces which have now debased the earth and which now propose to manage its improvement through the process of “sustainable development” and in full swing to bring the admeasuring and importance of ecological degradation towards the public attention, this might seem casual to question that importance planet and the image of the planet as a patient.

Richard and Levine(2009) explains that In the third world countries the atmospheric view of “science” as unsatisfied progress is expressed in the progress that take place with different development, the view that progress takes place along tit a single axis which was less developed to more of its developed in a proper manner , and the task of the which the revolution and different society is to be proceed as quickly as possible along. Then the question arises that the consequence the view is the rapid reproduction of the worst features of world (capitalist) science and technology, the uncritical acceptance of the “modern. And the most importantly the main stream of the revolution took place in that manner that it has to De work accordingly It fails to recognize that the pattern of modern technology is not dictated y nature but is developed through the interaction of the capitalist need to control the labor force, the desired outcome of research in the form of commodities, the intellectual climate in which the scientists work, the pattern of knowledge and ignorance coming from the previous set of different kind of work that has to be used in order to make advancement in the upbringing the nature and the nature of the different departments of the scientific problems to be solved The Kyoto Protocol so far fails to address either issue. Giving the industrial corporations quasi-property law increased emissions of carbon . which was far from being small step to be forwarded as it is initial steep the Kyoto protocol is in fact a dangerous and the most important stumble has the construction of the new carbon-industrial complex which is prohibited to do carbon trading internationally. Barry commoner(2008)Our society and industry relies on large amounts of energy and the world is becoming increasingly dependent on fossil fuels (oil, gas, coal etc… ).

The industrialized nations of Western Europe and North America, China and India depend almost entirely on these fuels and the developing nations are also increasing heir use day by day . Nicholas (2001) explains that concept of climate change which has a major factor in the environment protection planet by looking at the forces which have now debased the earth and which now propose to manage its improvement through the process of “sustainable development” and in full swing to bring the admeasuring and importance of ecological degradation towards the public attention, this might seem casual to question that importance planet and the image of the planet as a patient.

There are oils but in achieving those goals for the sake of planet to become fit but no one is noticing. Larry 2007 explains that once upon a time, nobody owns everything in the groups of people. We should define first what we’re talking about, and why it matters. “The Commons” was the name used in mediaeval England to describe parcels of land that were used “in common” by peasant farmers, very few of whom owned enough land to survive upon. Their lives depended upon access to and use of a shared landscape that provided many necessities: grazing land for their oxen or their vivisect, water in streams, ponds or wells, wood and fuel from a forest.

The land was survival of the population was so obvious that strict rules, recognized by the courts, required land- owners to ensure the commons remained available for use by peasant farmers. That access was considered a right, which people took for granted, much as we assume we have a right to breathe air. How the commons was used, and by whom, was governed by the Poe- peel themselves, who ensured that its benefits were fairly distributed amongst those who required access to it for survival. Property was Hough of as a collection of rights as much as it was title to a piece of land; and often those rights took precedence.

Larry Ionian 2008 focuses on the emission reduction regime that GOGH emissions, and provides the basic and the most importantly the essential architecture for any future international agreement that has to be took place in the view on climate change. By the end of the first commitment period of the Kyoto Protocol in 2012, a new international framework needs to have been negotiated and ratified that can deliver the stringent emission reductions the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (EPIC) has clearly indicated are needed. To the adverse effects of climate change.

It facilitates the development and deployment of techniques that can help increase resilience to the impacts of climate change. The Adaptation Fund was established to finance adaptation projects and programmer in developing countries that are Parties to the Kyoto Protocol. The Fund is financed mainly with a share of proceeds from CDC project activities. Mark James (1999)focuses on the CEO system that the ecosystem ecology has a major factor on the environment degradation that has to be process in order to take main steam of line to protect the environment and the When we look at the earth on the administrating table. By showing the image of environment degradation as a main problem requiring global solution that no one is Chapter # 3 Methodology In the project I will be conducting the Qualitative research. Qualitative research will be in form of Interviews and Questionnaires. Questionnaires will be distributed to he instructors of Environment protection department and students too. The basic aim is to find out that how technology is effecting the environment. Data Type and Research Period I will be using primary data to conduct my research accurately.

The usage of primary data in the form of surveys and interviews from different people and especially from the environment department of Pakistan. I will also make use of secondary data to help and support my own research, the secondary data will be in the form of published articles written by the previous researchers. The research period is from November ,2012 to April 2013. Sources of Data I will make use of the internet as a secondary source and the primary data will be interviews and questionnaire from the students and teachers of environmental department of ELSE(Lahore school of economics) and environmental impact assessment department. Population and Planned Sample The total population is going to be 100.

The targeted population are the instructors and the students of environmental department of ELSE( Lahore school of economics) , CUP (university of central Punjab) Techniques The techniques I would use is cross tabulation. There are different type of techniques which are used in order to get more accurate research . Len our research this is going to be the most effective technique because we are looking at the affects of technology on environment that how technology is effecting the environment. Data Analysis In order to analyze the data gathered, this research will make use of SPAS (statistical software) by using the data that has been entered in the excel sheet. This research will also require the interpretation from the researcher’s point of view by analyzing the data gathered. Data Interpretation representations.

We are going to interpret our data using statistical techniques as ell. A correlation analysis will be carried out and the result of this analysis that will tell us technology is affecting environment or not. Research Hypothesis In the project Environment is a dependent variable and industrial smoke; carbon emissions, fossil fuels and hybrid cars are independent variable Fossil fuels Ho: usage of fossil fuels have no effect on environment HI : usage of fossil fuels have effect on environment Usage of hybrid cars Ho: hybrid cars are not environment friendly HI : hybrid cars are environment friendly Carbon emissions Ho: increased in the rate of carbon emissions have no effect on environment

HI : increased in the rate of carbon emissions have en effect on environment Industrial smoke Ho: industrial smoke has no effect on environment HI: industrial smoke has effect on environment.
